John 11:21-22

"Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord if he were here, my brother would not have died. But I also know that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give" - John 11:21-22

JUST A REMINDER:

Jesus had received the news of the death of Lazarus and went to meet Martha and Mary who were deeply saddened and disappointed. Martha receives Jesus with a harsh word, "if you had been here, my brother would not have died" ... We can even say that she was right and agree because it was true. But the fact is that Jesus was in another place, and now no use crying over spilled milk. Often in the face of frustrations and disappointments do exactly the same things we were stuck in the past, complaining about something that has already happened. But thank God this passage teaches us something wonderful. When Martha raises his eyes to heaven, recognizes that stands before God and makes his appeal to Jesus, his hope is renewed and soon after, to raise Lazarus, Jesus shows His faithfulness. It is possible that you have gone through moments of great disappointment, that brought frustration, discouragement, slaughtered and oppressed, but God has good news for you today: He knows all your frustrations and disappointments. Deliver them now to the Lord and He will transform into victories.

PRAYER:
Lord my God and dear Father, I thank thee for His goodness, for His love, for His care for His forgiveness and for all that the Lord has done for me. Please help me in difficult moments to face the sorrows and disappointments, and helps me put hope in the Lord always. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
