God's Not About the Rejects The Summons!!

In Psalm 50:15 we read the wonderful promise of God: "... call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me."

In a textile factory, where they operated looms very complicated, there was a sign that said: "If the wires tangle, call the supervisor." Recently happened: the threads of the loom of a very dedicated and skilled workers were wrapped. Immediately she tried to untangle them, but her efforts only made greater confusion. Finally, tired and grumpy, she sought help from supervisor.

"You yourself have tried to separate the wires?" He asked. - "Yes." - "Why do not you call me, as the norm?" - "I did the best I could," she replied. - "Remember, 'the best' in this case is to call me!"

How many people in this world resemble this woman! They are honest, courageous and hardworking. They face life with determination. We would like to solve everything alone, take care of the problems, because we do not like to ask others for help. We strive to find their own solution. But all efforts are in vain. In the end, we are totally discouraged.

Often, circumstances eventually become so difficult that we can no longer extricate themselves from problems. How many times a doctor has had to tell a patient: "But why did not you come before?"

When someone is in such a situation, the only solution is to go to the Lord Jesus and call Him. He is the answer to all our problems and much confusion caused by sin. Without Him we can do nothing - neither for ourselves nor for others. Jesus Christ says: "... what comes to me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37).
