The Lord's Way
"When they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God. " Acts 14: 21-22. It is very common these days we hear in our churches preaching and more preaching the Gospel teaching the brethren that the way of the Lord is an easy thing to go, the blessings are many and no difficulty will be found. Messages that bring to listeners the idea of a gospel of pure triumph, wealth, accomplishments, dreams, achieving particular goals and practically exclude any possibility of sorrows and afflictions, promising what neither the Word nor Jesus Christ promised. Those who are taught this way become weak in several ways and naive about the way the Kingdom of God that Jesus taught.
