God's commandments prohibit adultery . The Bible says in Exodus 20:14 " Do not commit adultery . " Let the wife or the husband , because someone else may be legal , but it is adultery in God's eyes . The Bible says in Luke 16:18 " Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery . , And who marries her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery " covet another man's woman or man is a form of adultery. The Bible says in Matthew 5:27-28 " You have heard that it was said, Do not commit adultery . But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery in his heart to her. How Jesus treated the adulterous woman ? The Bible says in John 8:10-11 " Then Jesus stood up again and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman , where are those thine accusers ? Has no one condemned you? And she said, No man, Lord . And Jesus said unto her , Neither do I condemn thee : go , and sin no more " God's will is that we should avoid sexual immorality. . The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 4:3 " For this is the will of God, even your sanctification , that ye should abstain from fornication . "
