The Stones of Jordan and Jacob's Pillow

" ... So these stones God can raise up children to Abraham . " Luke 3:8

Faith and stones . Ways that are contrasted by the laws of physics, chemistry , of things visible and invisible . John the Baptist pointed to the stones by the Jordan River and said to them , God can raise up children for Abraham. Of immobility , pallor , cold and insensitive , something new and good born .

Of the many stones that hurt our feet on the road of life , faith and courage can rise fortresses . Assemble them , arrange them in a corner knowing that memorial to be a new story . A memorial just like Bethel , which means " House of God " . This was built with stones , by the hands of Abraham , in a time of famine and drought many difficulties . The pillow stone

Stones also remind me of Jacob and the way Tired of Laban with new perspectives on life and future to and rests his head on a pillow of stone :

" And behold, I am with thee, and keep thee in all places whither thou goest , and will bring thee again into this land: for I will not leave thee , until I have done what I have spoken Waking And Jacob from his sleep , said . Surely the Lord is in this place , and I knew it not . " Genesis 28:15-16

Jacob did not know that God was in the place of stones , and it also does not happen to us ?

So beloved brethren , I write this meditation to spirit of living by faith who for some reason are feeling wounded and tired . These stones are on the way today , can be Beteis , forts , pillow of Jacob , locations that allow us to move closer to the Lord . He cares for us , that the world does not start up the beauty of the faith that is in our hearts .

Now , if the stones hurt us because of sin , we must make a covenant with God , that He become the heart and situation. It is wonderful to know the beautiful and renewing promises of the word , better still everything to live as God wants for us. However , you must remove the dirt and debris that hinder walking, because:

" Behold the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it can not save, neither his ear heavy, that it can not hear but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, . , And your sins have hid his face from you for he will not hear . " Isaiah 59:1-2

Being at peace with God and with others is to rest as a child rests in the lap of a loving Father . The certainty that all things work together for good to those who live by faith and that the control is with the Lord .

God is faithful .
