In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form and void, and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And let them gather the waters under the heavens in place, and the dry land appear. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas.
And the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth. And the waters produce abundantly the living soul, and let birds fly above the face of the expanse of heaven, and God blessed them.

The Word of God reveals that from the beginning, the water was designated to give life, and the earth was formed in the water, in the water: because water is the source of life.
The organic formation of man also comes from the water, which being fertilized, is generated in a bag of water (amniotic fluid), where the tiny seed has the natural development to the complete constitution of the embryo, and the exact moment to come to light receive a living soul (breath of life) and aggregate human society.

So too, the spiritual birth of sinful man, originates in the water. No natural water chemical symbol H ² O, but the water that has the consistency of Spirit and Life. The water that flowed from the womb of Jesus, while hanging on the cross, being pierced by a sword by his executors, poured blood and water (John 19:34).
And on the first letter of John 5:6, the Word says that the Son of God is he that came by water and blood, that is, Jesus Christ, not by water only, but by water and blood. Because Christ died for our sins and rose for our salvation.

The word of the Lord in the Gospel of John 3:2 to 7, Prince narrates that a certain Jew named Nicodemus came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
Jesus answered him, He that is born again he can not see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus said to Him: Master how can a man be born when he is old? Perchance you come again in his mother's womb and be born? Jesus replied: Actually, actually, I say he is born of water and the Spirit he can not enter the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Ye must be born again.
Nicodemus understood the warning of the Lord Jesus Christ in a vision material, asking Him how could a man ever formed, re-entering the womb of his mother, but the Lord was speaking of spiritual things, the rising water is repentance to inherit eternal life, and born of the Spirit is conversion, the faith to truly believe in Christ's sacrifice on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, believe in his resurrection for the salvation of eternal life. Enough faith to receive Christ as Lord and Savior of your life, because there salvation in any other.

The word of the Lord gives us the certainty and security that by repentance and conversion, the old man is crucified with Christ, down to the water in the likeness of his death, sins are buried as he rose, too, will be resurrected. Dipped sinful man, the new creature resurfaced washed and redeemed by the blood of Christ.
But in recent times, even the preachers have brought water, the source of life for the material plane. A few years ago when we heard evangelical programs, usually at the end of preaching, at the time of prayer, the preacher asked listeners to catch him a glass of water and put it on the radio so that water was blessed, and drink for sick people or suffering from any evil, receive healing and blessing the Lord.

Today, besides the radio, this practice is also used in television programs and the process is the same. At the time of prayer, the preacher, with a glass of water, sends viewers also take your hands on a glass of water, and after prayer, guide them to take the water and receive the blessings of the Lord.
But anyway, this procedure is biblical, no foundation in the word to bless water to release the tormented?

Let's look at the word of the Lord, the Gospel of John 4:13-14, though the Lord Jesus Christ at Jacob's well, talking to the Samaritan woman said to him: Whoever drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water I give him will never thirst, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Jesus left no doubt the water that heals, liberates and transforms lives saved, is not this water stuff. Because this natural water only meets basic needs and organic. The brothers will take this water and continue to thirst, ie continue with the same spiritual needs.

But when we take the fountain of the water of life, we will never thirst, because the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ will abound in us until the end of time, if we do that which is beyond his control. Just as the visible water is a source of organic life, the Lord Jesus Christ is also the source of water of eternal life.

For He Himself has said, If any man thirst, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture says, rivers of living water flow from within him. He said that, of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive, for the Holy Spirit had not yet been manifested, for Jesus was not yet glorified (John 7:37-39). But now Christ is risen, and his Holy Spirit and his abundant grace dwells in our hearts and manifest in everyone who believes in Him for the forgiveness of sins and the hope of eternal life.
In the Gospel of John 19.32-34, the word says that being Christ hanging on the cross, because the soldiers were, to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs, but one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear and soon spurted blood and water.

The word describes Jesus had the belly pierced by a sword and poured blood and water. Christ with his blood, bought for God people from every tribe tongue and nation. The blood of the innocent Lamb to redeem man from sin and death. And water is the resurrection of Christ for the salvation of eternal life.
So beloved, that water treated by man, has no reason whatsoever, except to meet our basic needs and organic, but in Christ we find the Fountain of the Water of Life that transforms us into a new creature, and gives us repentance, conversion and the promise of eternal life.

And the revelation of the Apocalypse (7:17) John says that the Lamb is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and, and will guide them to the fountain of living waters, and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes
And in Revelation (chapters 21 and 22), John reveals that he has been shown a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. And Jesus said: Whoever thirsts I will give of the fountain of the water of life.
