SEVEN STEPS TO ACHIEVE VICTORY - II Rs 4.1-7

.1 - IDENTIFY YOUR PROBLEM: v.1

-You could say: "The problem is financial," but identify is something a little deeper.
-Understand why you're broke, what was the mistake you made, or the situation he faced to get through this situation.
-The problem was the widow: Although believers, they had debts and financial commitments, but with the death of her husband, the only way to pay was the life of his two sons.
- She knew very well the problem he was facing, and he also knew what was to face the front, but still trusted the Lord.

2 - BE SINCERE WITH GOD AND HIMSELF: v.2

-Elisha had no immediate solution to the problem of the widow, and he answered her with a question: "What shall I do?".
In other words, Elisha was saying: "My God, what am I gonna do now?". With a sincere prayer, as if talking to himself, Elisha presents the situation to God, for to see the problem of the widow, did not visualize an immediate solution for the same.
It's a wise act with sincerity before God. It is not wrong to have doubt, it is not wrong to have this kind of insecurity, since we cling to the Lord and seeking to answer the same security.

3 - GIVE GOD FOR WHAT YOU HAVE ON HAND: v.2b

-The widow did not have much in the hands. Only a jar with olive oil.
-When asked the prophet, she could answer: "I got nothing, sir."
It would be a regrettable mistake, we should appreciate what God has given us, however small it may seem to us.

-With little things in hand, the servants of God did wonders tremendous:

A) I Samuel 17:40 - David to face Goliath in his hand, a sling and a few stones, with
B) Judges 7:16 - Gideon had a trumpet and it was she who used to rally the army of Israel into battle.
C) Judges 15:15 - Samson had a bone and it hurt more than a thousand Philistines.
D) Nehemiah 2:1-2 - Nehemiah had a drink with him and, if the king came and got permission to rebuild Jerusalem.
E) II Kings 2:08 - Elijah had a mantle and he pioneered in the Jordan River.
F) John 6:9 - A boy had five loaves and two fish, which served to feed a crowd.
And you, what have hands?

4 - LEARN TO RECEIVE HELP FROM OTHERS: verse

. ILLUSTRATION: "A Christian lady was passing everyday needs and prayed loudly in his house, that God would send food. A young pranksters bought food for that elderly and delivering said: It was the devil who sent for you! She said: Glory to God, because God uses even the devil, to serve the faithful believer! "

5 - DO NOT MISS YOUR PRIVACY: v.4

It's not because the neighbors helped the widow, that they could get involved in her personal life.
It's natural for a problem, end up exposing our need for everyone around us, do not say your problem for those who can not help you.
-During the time of multiplication, the widow was alone, locked in her room. Note that neither the Prophet was with her at that moment.
-Another thing we learned is that it depended on the prophet to multiply the oil. God used his own hands.

6 - BE READY TO RECEIVE MORE THAN GOD: v.6

-The widow wanted to continue filling the vessels, but there was no vessel to fill.

7 - UNDERSTAND WHY GOD BLESSED YOU: v.7

-God does not cure a disease only cure ... because after all, sooner or later death will come right.
-God does a miracle just to do it. Faithfulness to God is also to return to God with the blessing, and ask: What do I do now that got my win?
-Abraham received Isaac, but God asked in sacrifice. Abraham was tried, will you pass the test of faithfulness to God, after reaching his victory?
