We must live in dependence on the Holy Spirit.

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Envy, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you, as I have told you before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.

Against such things there is no law.

And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Galatians 5:19-25

A história do campo de abacaxis aconteceu na Nova Guiné, na Indonésia. Ela durou sete anos. É uma ilustração humorística, mas profunda de um princípio bíblico básico aplicado. Ao ler este relato original, você descobrirá que ele é um exemplo clássico do tipo de lutas que cada um de nós enfrenta até aprender a aplicar o princípio de renunciar aos direitos pessoais. “Minha família e eu trabalhamos com pessoas no meio da selva.
