DELIGHT YOU ALSO IN THE LORD, AND HE GRANT YOU WHAT YOU WANT YOUR HEART. DELIVERING YOUR WAY TO THE LORD, TRUST IN HIM, AND HE WILL DO EVERYTHING.

David invited us to delight in the Lord and surrender all that we are, and we have to Him But how can this be? Revel in someone means to experience great pleasure and joy in your presence. This only happens when you know that person well. Thus, to delight in the Lord, we know it better. Knowledge of his great love for us will make actually delight in Him. Surrendering to the Lord means to submit all (our life, our family, our work, our goods and talents) to its control and its direction. Surrender ourselves to God means trusting Him, believing that the Lord can take care of us better than ourselves. We must be willing to wait patiently on God that He decides what is good for us.
