HAND OF GOD

1 Peter 5.5-7

"... Everyone should be humble toward one another, because," God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. " Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. Throw it on all your anxiety, because he cares for you. "

Introduction

The verse 6 speaks of God's hand.

THAT MEANS THE HAND OF GOD?

The hand of God's protective hand is the hand that blesses. It is the hand of the Father who loves his son and guide the correct paths.

OPERA AS THE HAND OF GOD?

The Bible says here in verse 6, that to be honored by the hand of God exalted at the right time or in due time, it is necessary that we sujeitemos humbly under the hand of God.

To Moses, God said: "Having ... would the Lord's hand shortened?". (Num. 11:23). And the prophet Isaiah said: "Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it can not save ...".

Of course not! The hand of the LORD ... is not shortened!

When you humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, the Bible says in Psalm 23, you'll be eating in front of their enemies, and in another part, the Bible says that his enemies can not touch you. Aleluuia!

Says the Lord (Ps. 91:7): ​​"A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come nigh thee."

God did not say that will take your enemies. God did not say that you will live without problems ...

No! What God says is that you sit to eat, which will come under the provision, which will be under care in the midst of enemies, but they can not touch you! The Psalm 23 says: "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies You anoint my head with oil, my cup runneth over."

RESULTS OF BEING UNDER THE MIGHTY HAND OF GOD?

Here in 1 Peter 5.6 says that the hand of God promotes us, exalts us. It is written: "He will exalt you."

The Lord says He will exalt you, even if you are weak, though no forces, but because you are held by the hand of God, He will exalt you!

Daniel also experienced this. Nebuchadnezzar the king forbade the worship of God and decreed that his statue was worshiped.

But Daniel was feared God and prayed three times a day. And because it was thrown into the den of lions, lions fierce, fierce and hungry ... looked like the end of Daniel ...

But the Lord took him from there; Daniel God raised from the pit, but the king humbled ... because God promotes, God raises up those who humble themselves under his mighty hand and He shames the enemies of their children ... As Psalm 23 says: God sets a table for their children in the presence of their enemies.

Conclusion

God has a plan for your life. God created you for a purpose!

Sometimes, some of us have heard some parents, in a huff, telling their children: "I do not want, you are a simple accident, you came to this world, but do not want to, were not prepared" and deep pain arises in the heart of a baby, a loving creature.

But we are not in this world by accident! Amen?

His parents did not have an accident, the truth is that you are here because God wanted, because God wished. So you were not born by chance, you were born because God had a purpose to you. God has a plan to put you in a position of honor!

Humble yourself therefore under the mighty hand of God and you will be exalted in due time!
